Hammersmith Bridge

This bridge is very dear to me! I cross is every week day at around 8.00 am on my journey from my home on Ham Common to work at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith.

Prayer and praise is a great bridge between heaven and earth.

Let all the world in every corner sing,
My God and King!
The heavens are not too high,
His praise may thither fly;
The earth is not too low,
His praises there may grow.
Let all the world in every corner sing,
My God and King!

And within walking distance of 'The Dove' a very decent pub where Thomas Arne reputedly composed 'Rule Britannia'

Indeed it is. I can confirm that The Dove is an excellent pub!
