See him at the judgment hall,
beaten, bound, reviled, arraigned;
O the wormwood and the gall!
O the pangs his soul sustained!
Shun not suffering, shame, or loss;
learn of Christ to bear the cross.
Although Advent is a joyful season, it is meant to be hard work, and by that I don't just mean the Christmas shopping! We must expect to put ourselves out a little more for The Lord. Perhaps we can find an opportunity to give comfort to someone who is in pain.

Well you could comfort me for a start Peter..a bit of a rough patch at the moment..
