Christmas Carols - 16

Here we see the Christmas tree in the Chapel. Nature tends to look a little weary during these winter months, but it is as if the trees of the forest are shouting for joy at the birth of the Saviour!

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let ev'ry heart prepare him room,
And heav'n and nature sing.

Joy to the world, the Saviour reigns!
Let all their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of his righteousness
And wonders of his love.
