... and things are really taking shape. It is hard to believe that this is what our beautiful church looked like 12 months ago!

I've just looked at the commencement and completion dates; they work pretty fast in Scotland! I am looking forward to seeing the interior; if you say it is beautiful I am sure it must be. I suppose with the snow in winter it is not possible to do any outdoor work then, is that so?
My husband is in the construction industry and so I am interested in any sort of construction.
Yes, they were quick! Everything was completed in around 9 months. I don't think snow hindered the construction work in any way.
Of course, we had plenty of snow in February of this year - but in Inverness building work was held up for only a week at the most. Fortunately, by then St Columba's was finished!
As you can see - this building is a timber-framed construction.
