Stirling Castle - 23
It was in the year 1528, at the age of 16, that King James V took control of the Scottish Kingdom.
In the year 1534, King James V sealed a peace treaty with his uncle, King Henry VIII of England. This proved to be short-lived!
Henry VIII was not so much a friendly uncle to James V, as an overbearing neighbour.
