I suppose there is a parallel with priests. If you write to them you would address the envelope as Revd Joe Bloggs, but in speech you would refer to them as Fr Joe. No one would call me Revd Peter! <br /><br />I am very impressed with all the photos etc. of the visit of Deacon Jack to the Oratory.
